The Dresden Plate quilt block pattern was one of the most popular with quilters in the 1920s and 30s. This one is distinguished by sashing in the Nile green fabric that was the height of fashion from 1930-40. The fabric is cut wide enough to accommodate a mini-Dresden plate at the corner of each block.
